Association records should be kept in good order and provide an appropriate history of events and activities. Sterling utilizes an extensive master filing system, both paper and electronic, to retain records for each client. These records remain the property of the Association. Many records are scanned into electronic files to reduce the volume of paper storage needs. These files can be provided to clients in CD form. Records in electronic format provide an opportunity for sharing information via the internet. Copies of documents can be printed for those clients preferring the paper approach.
